Snuffer's, Texadelphia among new Richardson restaurants
June 12, 2016
In addition to the multiple restaurants opening at CityLine, Richardson has had many new announcements and openings this summer!
A long time Dallas favorite, Snuffer’s has opened next to Tokyo Joe’s and Torchy’s Tacos on W. Campbell. You will love their cheese fries!
- Two new restaurants have signed leases for Richardson Restaurant Park. Joining The Rock Wood-fired Kitchen and Dog Haus will be a new Asian fast casual concept – no name yet - and the hot, hot New York City Mediterranean food truck concept, The Halal Guys. Wildly popular on the east coast with over 500,000 Facebook followers, they are bringing their famous platters and sandwiches into brick and mortar venues to the Dallas area.
- A new dog training and boarding facility has been approved by the city. What a Great Dog! will be going in 655 N. Greenville Ave. They also have a Frisco location.
- Seafood restaurant The Crab Shed opened at 1332 E Buckingham by the GameStop and Fiesta grocery at Buckingham Plaza Shopping Center.
Texadelphia, which began in Austin in 1981, is back in Richardson! The restaurant that developed the original Texas cheesesteak sandwich has opened in Heights Shopping Center on the southwest corner of 75 and Belt Line, next to Phenix Salons, around the corner from theSketchers store. This makes 12 restaurants at Heights Shopping Center, not counting Krispy Kreme and new Starbucks. Here’s the list: Subway, Aboca Italian Grill, Kabobi Fresh Mediterranean, Taco Joint, Udipi Vegetarian Cafe, Tasty Tails Seafood & Bar, Haystack Burgers and Barley, Flavors of Ice Cream, Glass Half Full at Alamo Drafthouse, Bangkok@Belt Line (second location from the Bangkok City owners), and Masami Japanese Restaurant.
Champs Restaurant Supply will open later this summer in the former Walmart building at 400 N Coit Road. The Arlington-based retailer provides a wide assortment of kitchen equipment and serving items for restaurants, office break rooms as well as the family kitchen. The 40,000+ square foot building is a great location for Champs new store. Watch for opening later this summer.

She continues to be a key point of contact for Richardson’s retail activities in her role with Catalyst, a Dallas-based economic development consulting firm.
