Richardson Economic Development Partnership Receives Economic Development Award for Most Jobs Announced 2015

Richardson, TX – Richardson Economic Development Partnership is proud to announce that based on a 2015 survey of more than 100 economic development organizations from around the country, it announced more jobs than any other organization with a population between 100,001 and 250,000. The Partnership announced 6,415 jobs for the vibrant and diversified business community that is strategically located in one of the brightest economic regions in the world – the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex.

“This award demonstrates not only the attractiveness of Richardson as a place for companies to locate their businesses, but also our team’s commitment to attracting high-quality jobs and investment to Richardson,” said Jenny Mizutowicz, director of marketing for REDP. “We are extremely grateful to Atlas Advertising for recognizing us with this honor for a third year in a row.”

Denver-based Atlas Advertising collected data from more than 100 economic development organizations in their 2015 High Performance Economic Development benchmarking survey, which included organization-specific information like location, population, annual budget, and number of full time economic development staff. Key metrics garnered from each organization included jobs announced, website visits received, number of organizations serviced (or inquiries generated), and capital invested announced for a period of 12 months.

The results of the benchmarking survey were compiled and presented in Atlas’ 2016 white paper, “The Road to Economic Development Marketing Reinvention.”

“With their continued, superior performance in the economic development industry, the Richardson Economic Development Partnership has demonstrated that it is one of the highest performers in the nation,” said Guillermo Mazier, CEO of Atlas Advertising. “Their leadership and staff have truly made an impact in Richardson, and throughout the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.”
