Richardson-based Alliance Architects completes architectural design for Restoration Hardware Distribution Center

Charles J. Reagan, Principal of Richardson-based Alliance Architects, Inc. is pleased to announce the recent completion of the new 880,000 square foot distribution facility for Restoration Hardware. Alliance Architects completed the architectural design for the facility. Restoration Hardware one of the fastest growing and most innovative luxury brands in the home furnishings marketplace. Located on a 50-acre site in the city of Grand Prairie, the build-to-suit facility is situated at the corner of Pioneer Parkway and State Highway 161.

 

The 38’ clear height distribution hub features painted tilt wall panels with stone and metal accents. The facility features approximately 48,000 square feet of office space including a fitness center and employee breakrooms. The grand stair features unique, decorative iron balusters and concrete treads designed to mix a modern industrial look with the traditional styles of Restoration Hardware. Decorative crystal and iron chandeliers are featured throughout the facility along with coffered ceilings and crown molding. A park area is located on the eastern portion of the site, which features enhanced landscaping and walking trails.

 

Alliance Architects team members include Tom Maxwell, Joven Cavas, Luis Sifuentes, Ashley Gibson, Gloria Boyd, Barb Caires, and William Arch.

 

Weeks Robinson Properties was the developer for this build-to-suit project; The Conlan Company provided general construction services. Civil engineering design services were provided by Pacheco Koch Consulting Engineers, Hunt & Joiner Consulting Structural Engineers provided structural design services. and AOS Engineering provided MEP design services.

 

This notable project is among the numerous industrial deals that are a testament to North Texas' growing distribution hub market.
