REDP launching young professionals talent attraction campaign July 12
June 14, 2016
The job seeking model has changed. Historically, job applicants would search for jobs they wanted, and subsequently move to where they received a job offer. Today’s workforce, particularly Millennial workers, are more likely to decide WHERE they want to work first, then begin looking for jobs in that city. Because of this shift, placemaking and marketing communities have become paramount for employers and cities.
To compete for these young workers, the REDP team has been working on a talent attraction campaign to tell the story of why Richardson is an exciting place for young professionals to live, work and play. With the help of Denver-based Atlas Advertising and many of our community partners, we have developed five promotional videos highlighting living, working, eating, and the cultural arts in Richardson, as well as a landing page that links young professionals to specific job openings and residential options.
We are officially launching the campaign on July 12 and need our community’s support to help spread the message. Stay tuned for the unveiling of the campaign, and please contact Jenny Mizutowicz, Director of Marketing, for information about how you can get involved.
