Medical software firm moving HQ, 250 employees to Richardson

Carrollton-based Aprima Medical Software Inc., a provider for electronic health records and revenue management software, plans to consolidate its North Texas offices and 250 employees to Richardson.

The company has recently signed a lease for about 55,000 square feet of space at 1010 E. Arapaho Road in Richardson. Aprima plans to move into its new office next month."

By relocating our headquarters to Richardson and streamlining our operations under one roof, we expect to achieve significant efficiencies, enhance customer satisfaction and produce even greater career opportunities for our employees," said President and CEO Michael Nissenbaum.

Aprima's long-standing relationship with the University of Texas at Dallas' engineering school and appeal of the Richardson community helped solidify the decision, he said.

In recent history, Aprima has experienced double-digit growth and expects this trajectory to continue into the future. The new corporate office will be home to product development, corporate administration, customer support and project management functions.

Mayor Paul Voelker said the relocation of Aprima further validates the city's commitment to the health care and IT industries.

"We know they will benefit from synergies with other business innovators and academic partners in our community, and we wish them much success in the future," he said, in a statement.

CBRE's John Roper represented Aprima in its real estate search. Roy Greenbergand Bryan Lurie of Momentum Commercial Realty represented the Dallas-based landlord, which recently acquired the three-story office building.
