A new office building in Richardson's huge CityLine development has landed its first tenant.

Dallas-based investment banking firm Generational Group LLC is moving its headquarters to the 3400 at CityLine building at U.S. Highway 75 and Renner Road.

The company is leasing 30,794 square feet of space in the 310,000-square-foot speculative office building.

Generational Group is relocating from Dallas Parkway in Far North Dallas.

"We are excited about the move to CityLine," president and CEO Ryan Binkley said in a statement. "We're confident it will be very positive for both our associates and clients and further allow for our continued growth."

The five-story office project was developed by UBS Asset Management and Transwestern Development Co. BOKA Powell designed the building.

The office campus includes a fitness center, a yoga garden and a parking garage with space for more than 1,000 cars.

Steve Thelen and Anissa Guerriere of JLL negotiated the new lease with Transwestern's Nathan Durham, Paul Wittorf and Duane Henley.

"Generational Group's new office provides a centralized location, tremendous accessibility for their employees and clients, and a wealth of amenities on-site and nearby," Thelen said.

Generational Group includes Generational Equity, DealForce and Generational Capital Markets. The company does merger-and-acquisition advisory work.

Generational Group joins State Farm and Raytheon as major businesses located in the CityLine project, which also includes apartments, retail and hotel space.
