Genpact, LLC, a global leader in business process and technology management, has opened a services center in Richardson, Texas. The center could employ up to 200 people over the next 12 to 18 months.
Genpact currently employs 50 people at its 28,877-square-foot center at 3101 President George Bush Hwy, 40 of which are IT service professionals. Jobs at the new facility will include higher-end technology and business processing services, as well as mortgage positions to support processing for a major financial institution.
Out of the new center, Genpact will expand their deep technology and business analytics capabilities for their clients, particularly those in the financial services, healthcare, consumer products goods (CPG) and retail industries who are seeking insights, intelligence, and process expertise to achieve better business outcomes.
The opening of the Richardson center marks Genpact’s fourth services delivery location in the U.S., joining Danville, IL, Wilkes-Barre, PA, and Irvine, CA. Genpact performed a detailed analysis of cities before selecting Richardson as its new location, and access to skilled labor was a key metric in Richardson’s favor.
“We chose to expand operations in the Dallas metropolitan area because of its favorable business climate, a growing and diverse pool of skilled professionals, and central proximity to our clients across the U.S.,” said Scott McConnell, Genpact’s senior vice president and business leader, Americas.
Genpact’s new Richardson center is located at 3101 President George Bush Freeway, Suite #200. They hosted an official grand opening ceremony at their facility on April 4, 2012.
