Continued Connections Made in International Markets November 20, 2019 Report by Suellen Price Contributor | Richardson Chamber of Commerce When companies choose Richardson, local tax revenues, jobs and other small businesses all thrive with the economic boost. Chamber CEO Bill Sproull spread the word about Richardson’s robust business climate, particularly in the innovation space, in Europe this fall. Bill was one of four participants on an international panel discussing approaches in innovation ecosystems at the 36th annual conference of the International Association of Science Parks (IASP) in Nantes, France. More than 600 delegates from 70 countries attended. The Richardson Economic Development Partnership has been a member of the group since 2013. Richardson is recognized as one of eight American “Areas of Innovation” by IASP.Bill then traveled to the United Kingdom and presented several “Invest in Texas and Richardson” seminars, meeting with 10 companies. The first meetings were sponsored by Cambridge Networks, a technology focused association affiliated with Cambridge University.
