Developer KDC has topped out construction on the fourth building in the huge State Farm Insurance campus in Richardson.

The 12-story, 500,000-square-foot office building is under construction at the southeast corner of Bush Turnpike and Plano Road in KDC’s CityLine development.

KDC has already built three State Farm office towers across the street with 1.5 million square feet.

The Illinois-based insurance will have about 8,000 people working in the high-rise business complex.

Plans for the fourth State Farm tower were announced back in early 2014.  The building has 30,000 square feet of ground floor retail space.

State Farm won’t move into the last building in its campus until early next year.

When completed, CityLine is expected to have about 6 million square feet of office space, almost 4,000 apartments and more than 300,000 square feet of shopping space.
