Richardson, Texas – The City of Richardson proudly announces an economic redevelopment agreement that will assist in transforming a portion of Celestica's manufacturing operation in Richardson. Celestica, a leader in design, manufacturing, hardware platform and supply chain solutions for the world’s most innovative companies is expanding its operation in Richardson to produce groundbreaking, state-of-the-art equipment based on artificial intelligence learning systems for its U.S.-based customers. The agreement with Celestica builds on Richardson’s role in the DFW market as a key location for related research and development of this growing sector of cutting-edge technology.

Celestica’s Richardson facility is expanding to produce highly complex equipment with applications across multiple industries. The process will create new manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering employment opportunities within the Richardson community.
