How We Help

There is no charge for REDD services and all information exchanged remains confidential.

Workforce and wage information

  • Data on the availability, cost and quality of labor.
  • Provide HR executive contacts with major area companies.
  • Referrals to Richardson Chamber of Commerce members who provide employment services.
  • Coordinate workforce assessment interviews with major local employers.

Community data

  • REDD provides a detailed Community Profile on all aspects of life here.
  • REDD can provide information and analysis on cost of doing business issues such as taxes, utilities, etc.

Access to key officials

  • REDD connects businesses with appropriate local, state and federal government officials and their staff.
  • Provides feedback on infrastructure and service improvements that enhance the business environment.
  • Ombudsman services regarding legislative and regulatory concerns.

Business introductions

  • Introductions to financing, accounting and professional service firm members of the Richardson Chamber of Commerce.
  • Introductions to local companies and individuals that are prospective customers, suppliers and/or strategic partners.
  • Identify and make introductions to potential customers, suppliers and partners.

Incentives information

  • As the primary contact for companies considering a relocation or expansion here, REDD can provide an overview of incentive programs available locally and from the State of Texas.
  • Since all incentive requests are handled on a case-by-case basis, a REDD representative is available to discuss the possibilities and types of incentives that match a particular project.
  • A request for incentives may be made by requesting and completing an application.

Site selection information and analysis

  • After determining your company’s real estate needs, the REDD can provide a list of all available properties that match your criteria.
  • REDD can provide analysis that compares properties on the basis of cost, condition, visibility, access and potential for expansion.

Broker and real estate referrals

  • REDD referrals will be made to members of the Richardson Chamber of Commerce whose services match your needs.
  • REDD also provides introductions and referrals to landlords, architects, engineers, general contractors and other real estate-related services.

Relocation assistance

  • Briefings on all aspects of the community.
  • Information on local schools, housing, utilities, retail and restaurants, etc.
  • Community tours for relocating employees, focusing on centers of business, residential neighborhoods and quality of life assets.
  • Assist spouses of relocating employees in identifying local employment opportunities.

Communications

  • The REDD will engage its media relations team to assist in the announcement of a company's expansion or relocation.
